Welcome to Hbc’s 2006 Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Every day, we make choices. Some of those choices have an impact on our families and communities; some may reach around the world. Please take a moment to read Hbc’s fifth annual Corporate Social Responsibility report and learn more about the choices we make in our daily operations at Hudson’s Bay Company.

Our goal is to foster and enhance sustainable business practices throughout our organization, particularly in the areas of the environment, human resources, community investment and ethical sourcing. To achieve this goal and to facilitate continuous improvement, we have established core principles and metrics in each of these areas. Each year, we report our results in this CSR document, which is widely distributed and proudly shared with our associates, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
