Short Term

  • Add 50 OPAL courses in 2008
  • Survey all Hbc associates in 2008 to determine engagement levels
  • Reduce injuries and days lost by 5 percent in 2008
  • Increase locations achieving zero injuries by 5 percent

Long Term

  • Achieve improvement in associate engagement levels by 2010
  • Increase internal promotions into Future Executive Program to 75 percent by 2010
  • Achieve zero injuries at all operations by the end of 2008
