The Hbc Foundation is one of Canada’s leading charitable organizations dedicated to improving the lives of Canadians through programs that reflect our distinct Canadian values. Hudson’s Bay Company is proud to celebrate its long-standing connection with Canadians beyond the walls of our stores and into the cities, schools and streets of communities across the country through its various programs and fundraising initiatives.

The company has supported a variety of organizations over its 300+ year history and while we will continue to fulfill existing donation commitments, our current funding focus will be centered on Olympic programming and fundraising, Canadian athletes and sport partners. 2009 is an important year for Canadians as soon-to-be hosts to the 2010 Olympic Games and to the Hudson’s Bay Company as a 2010 National Partner and one of the largest supporters of our Canadian Olympic team.

As a result, the Foundation is not accepting any new applications for support.
