Hudson’s Bay Reopens in Ontario Regions Under Colour Code Framework

TORONTO, ON — Hudson’s Bay is excited to welcome customers back to its stores today in areas where the stay-at-home order has been lifted. Stores will operate with reduced hours to allow for increased cleaning each day, ensuring the safest possible shopping environment for customers and associates. Hudson’s Bay stores located in York, Toronto and Peel will reopen in accordance with the guidelines outlined by the provincial government next week.

Hudson’s Bay stores that are now open include:

Barrie – Georgian Mall
Burlington – Burlington Mall, Mapleview Mall
Cambridge – Cambridge Centre
Hamilton – Limeridge Mall
Kingston – Cataraqui Town Centre
Kitchener – Fairview Park Mall
London – Masonville Place, Whiteoaks Mall
Oakville – Oakville Place
Orleans – Place D’Orleans Shopping Centre
Oshawa – Oshawa Centre
Ottawa – Bayshore Shopping Centre, Rideau Centre, St. Laurent Shopping Centre
Pickering – Pickering Town Centre
St. Catharines – Pen Centre
Waterloo – Conestoga Mall
Windsor – Devonshire Mall

The stores are reopened with enhanced health and safety protocols, including:

  • Increased cleaning
  • Capacity limits to allow for physical distancing
  • Hand sanitizing stations
  • Plexiglass barriers to keep customers and associates safe at the register
  • Cashless payment — we ask that customer utilize debit or credit card
  • Directional signage for easy navigation and distancing
  • Buy online, pick up in-store and contactless curbside pick up options

For those not ready to return to the in-store shopping experience just yet, customers can shop Hudson’s Bay’s quality assortment on thebay.com or through the Hudson’s Bay App, and have items delivered directly to their homes. Customers with a Hudson’s Bay Mastercard or Credit Card will receive 20x the Rewards points through February 18, and 10x the Rewards points with any other method of payment.

Hudson’s Bay also continues to offer curbside pickup for those who prefer a contactless shopping experience. Details about specific store reopenings, curbside pickup, return policies and adjusted hours can be found through the store locator on thebay.com.
