Hudson’s Bay Reopens Stores in Quebec

On Monday, May 25, Hudson’s Bay will reopen its stores in Quebec, completing its phased approach to openings across the country. Stores will reopen with enhanced health and safety protocols and modified services to ensure the safest possible shopping experience for customers and associates. All Hudson’s Bay locations across the country have now reopened to the public.

“As we reopen our Hudson’s Bay stores, the health and well-being of our associates and customers remains at the forefront of every decision we make,” said Iain Nairn, President, Hudson’s Bay. “We will continue to take direction from government and public health experts, and have implemented a number of added measures to ensure we deliver a healthy, easy, and comfortable shopping experience. We sincerely look forward to welcoming customers back to Hudson’s Bay.”

When returning to the in-store experience, shoppers can expect protocols in place, including enhanced cleaning practices, directional signage on floors for easy navigation and physical distancing, and services that have been adjusted, such as beauty sampling. Stores will operate with reduced hours, from 12pm – 5pm daily, to allow for thorough cleaning.

Additionally, Hudson’s Bay is offering curbside pickup at most locations for those who prefer a contactless shopping experience, and an adjusted return policy whereby any purchase made after January 17, 2020 can be returned to Hudson’s Bay stores within 30 days of reopening.
